The team and players are getting behind this town wide push to raise money for those most affected by coronavirus.

Southend United join many of the Southend’s famous organisations, businesses and charities that have come together to fight back against this deadly pandemic.

The fund is helping those affected and with 25 ambassador organisations now signed up it is gathering pace.

£25,000 has already been raised to help. And more people, organisations and businesses and donating every day.

Peter Dominey one of the founders of Southend Emergency Fund says:

“We are delighted to have SUFC come on board. In the coming days, weeks and months it’s going to be tough for many people in Southend.

We will be channelling the donations we receive through the network of local charities and that are working in our community. We want to make sure the help reaches the families and individuals in need. Please everyone, now is the time to get involved.”

Donate £10 by texting SOS10 to 70191.
