“Leigh Bric-a-Brac Trail” stall holders will raise money for Southend Emergency Fund

Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th July, 10am – 2pm is the final weekend of “Leigh Bric-a-Brac Trail

Some stall holders have already agreed to raise funds for the Southend Emergency Fund, and it’s not too late to join in.

Leigh Bric a Brac Trail

  1. Join the Facebook Group for the trail and add the address of your stall so people can find you and then:
  2. Either display the ‘stall’ poster on your stall and donate all or some of the proceeds from what you sell
  3. Or put a self-supplied collecting tin on your stall and displaying the ‘pennies’ poster. Encourage your customers to donate their spare pennies or notes 😉 

Then pay in what you collect via www.southendemergencyfund.org.uk

The Southend Emergency Fund as already raised over £66,000 through the generosity of the people of Southend and supplied much-needed grants to local charities and organisations.

Those helped include: Aspirations Day Program, Southend Vineyard, One Love Soup Kitchen, HARP (White Heather House), Milton Hall Primary School, The Hub (Get the Kids Out), SOS Rape Crisis, Southend In Sight, Welcome to the UK, Isaiah Project, St Vincent de Paul, TrustLinks, CAST, Southend SEND Parents, Southend Carers, South Essex Advocacy Services, Connectability, SSAFA, Active Life, Peabody, Shoeburyness Salvation Army, HARP, Leigh Buddhist Centre, SAVS, etc.

But the need is still great and will continue to be so for some time. Thank you!Thanks to those that have already said they will be raising money for the fund.
